To travel to a foreign destination you need a passport (valid 10 years), an airline ticket, a hotel reservation. Trips can be for leisure and sightseeing which boosts stats. Leisure trips can be combined with market research which will give you an idea of what products are available in each destination and the low volume cost. You can even buy samples to take back in your luggage.

If you wish to do trade in a foreign country you will need a business visa (usually valid for 5 years). If you do not speak the main language of the destination you will need to hire a facilitator. This will allow you to visit suppliers and place orders for products. The price of an item is usually dependent on the quantity you wish to purchase. Delivery is usually between 3-6 months. You can try to negotiate price and sometimes this will work and sometimes it won’t.

Once you have placed an order abroad for a product you can then place further orders with this supplier without needing to visit the country.

Some destinations produce machinery. This can be ordered so that you can setup your own factory locally. Machinery usually needs a separate pattern for each item produced. Machinery is an expensive purchase and is often financed by a lease purchase agreement with a bank.
